Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains what information Stacks N Scribes (“we”) collects through stacksnscribes.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you send us
When you use a form on this site (Join the Network, Contact, or Submit an event), we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, show or channel details, event details, and your message. We use it only to review and respond to your submission and, for events, to list approved events on the Local page. Submitted event details (but never your email address) may be published.
Listening
Episodes play from each show’s own podcast host. When you press play, your browser connects to that host to stream the audio, and the host may log the request (for example, your IP address and device type) under its own privacy policy. To let you pick up where you left off, your browser remembers the last episode and position on your own device. We don’t receive that information.
Links to other sites
News stories, bookshop events, and show links take you to other websites, which have their own privacy practices.
Analytics and cookies
We may use privacy-respecting analytics, such as Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used. These tools may set cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep information
We keep form submissions only as long as needed to respond and manage the collective, and delete them on request.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you have sent us. Email info@stacksnscribes.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete; we don’t sell or share personal information for advertising.
